A Life Story. . .
○ As an apprentice, he was rather reckless. He was often times found sneaking out and getting all sorts of mischief with Mintpaw, Roanpaw or Crowpaw. One day, he caused Cobraspirit to run onto a Thunderpath where his mentor saved him but was killed in the process. Blazingpaw blamed himself for the incident. At the time, so did Roanpaw's father. In fact, Roanpaw's father went as far as forbidding her from seeing him anymore, leaving Blazingpaw to deal with his grief without the support of his closest friend at the time. Around the same time, Crowpaw's father was killed and when his friend came to Blazingpaw seeking support, Blazingpaw lashed out and drove him away. This was the start to a lifelong rivalry. Thankfully, Frogear took the apprentice under his wing and trained he and Duskflight together. Once the training was done, however, Duskflight, Mintberry, and Frogear -- now Frogspirit or Frog -- both left the clan. Blazingstorm was left with no one, but the few family members he stuck close to.
○ Blazingstorm met Sagewhisker and the two became best friends. When the fire swept through the moors, she fled to seek help from the clan they didn't know existed at the time -- SkyClan. During her absence, Blazingstorm got in touch with Mint(berry) again, begging her to return to the clan. The meeting turned into about a moon long fling.
○ After Sagewhisker returned after her journey to Skyclan, they started talking again. Blazingstar finally admitted his feelings to her; she bitterly rejected him. This came back to her when he rejected her back when she admitted her feelings too late to him. He ran back to Mint and cut ties with the she-cat once more, putting his clan before relationships now. Little did he know, Mint was pregnant, but she never admitted it to him. His unknown son, Lionstorm(star), was born and resided in RiverClan where Blazingstorm would never meet him. Sage soon admitted that she was pregnant, leaving Blazingstorm in denial. When his kits were born, he refused to believe that Sagewhisker's kits were his. To this day, he's grateful for Obsidiansky for acting as a father figure to them.
○ Blazingstorm fought in the second Evil Era, he found himself proving his loyalty and courage to his leader, Dapplestar, and was named Windclan's new deputy. He got to witness Skyclan settle in after the downfall of the evil leaders. Although, at 24 moons old and after receiving his title as deputy, he was pushed into leadership with Dapplestar's sudden death. He chose Ferretpaw as his first apprentice and Shrikecall as his deputy.
○ Blazingstar made friends with RiverClan's previous leader, Russetstar. The clans soon became allies, however, kept it secret from the other clans.
○ Snowstar of Thunderclan started accusing Blazingstar and his clan of being murderers. Next thing Blazingstar knew, Shrikecall had died of injuries from a border skirmish with them. To top this, his mother, Alderscreech, was kidnapped from the border. Blazingstar named Onyxwhisper the new deputy, refusing to leave WindClan without a deputy during this time. He then led a patrol to bring back his mother. The patrol was a success and everything returned to normal for a while. Somewhere during this stressful time, Blazingstar was able to reconnect with Roanfeather who helped him cope with the stress and ignited his adventurous nature again.
○ Twolegs started road work on a nearby Thunderpath. It left all the clans starving. He was frustrated at Snowstar's demands to send her patrols to hunt on Windclan territory. However, to help aid his starving clan, Blazingstar chose to starve himself to give him meals to the clan mates who needed prey the most. This led to him losing his first life at 31 moons of age.
○ After moons of frustration building up, Blazingstar finally exposed Snowstar at the gathering. She refused to apologize in the least and that night, he declared war on Thunderclan before the Dusk Syndicate attacked the clans. During this attack, Blazingstar lost another life to severe wounds from a fighter named Hades. Nonetheless, they won the fight and together, the clans drove the Dusk Syndicate out of the forest. It was momentary distraction from the fact Thunderclan and Windclan would meet on the battlefield.
○ With the war coming up on them, Blazingstar went to Shadowclan for help. They became allies for the battle. When Blazingstar turned to RiverClan to seek their allies help, he was bitterly turned away by Fallenstar -- Russetstar's successor. They lost the battle to RiverClan and ThunderClan shortly after. Onyxwhisper's sudden death after the battle forced Blazingstar to name Buttercupbreeze as the new deputy. The Gathering followed a few days later where Fallenstar made it clear to the three clans that attended, WindClan and RiverClan were no longer allies. Fallenstar's lashing out on SkyClan and WindClan caused anger to boil up in Blazingstar and the leader knew Fallenstar was sending his clan to war once again. Desperate now, Blazingstar turned to Grousestar -- SkyClan's leader -- for help. Thankfully, Grousestar finally came to the conclusion it was time to involve SkyClan again, making WindClan and SkyClan secret allies.
○ In the midst of all this chaos, a long time love interest and friend of his -- Fawnskip -- was soothing his stress. Things were good for a while until Fawnskip decided to be more involved with Obsidiansky. Appalled by her choice, he couldn't help but feel a little bitter towards the tom. Nonetheless, Fawnksip eventually came back to Blazingstar, telling him that she was expecting his kits. Blazingstar believed her, more scared that Obsidiansky was going to take her away too. At the birth of the litter, one of the kittens was stillborn and Fawnskip died in the process leaving the devastated Blazingstar with two kittens to care for under the full belief they were biologically his, when in fact, they were Obsidiansky's.
○ With Fallenstar's verbal attacks on Grousestar and Blazingstar at a Gathering, Blazingstar saw RiverClan as the new enemy. This was encouraged as the medicine cats received an omen that he and Grousestar agreed meant RiverClan was going to be their demise. Blazingstar deemed Fallenstar unworthy to lead and threatened RiverClan if he refused to step down. The refusal tipped the WindClan leader over as he couldn't manage the stress which led to the attack on RiverClan's clearing with ShadowClan and SkyClan by his side. The clans drove RiverClan away and divided the RiverClan territory between them.
○ His deputy, Buttercupbreeze went behind his back for moons following the drive-out of RiverClan. Blazingstar caught her at a peace rally, demoting her and confining her to the camp. The betrayal was rough on the leader, leaving him to assign Crowmask as the new deputy. The two acted as if the fight when they were apprentices hadn't happened. However, the new deputy had ill intentions after moons of anger building up towards the leader. Crowmask nearly destroyed Blazingstar's leadership, putting awful thoughts in to his head and making him think his warriors wanted something they really didn't.
○ Quickly after Buttercupbreeze's betrayal, he learned Crowmask's intentions and realized his former deputy was only trying to protect the clan. The big battle that brought RiverClan back to their territory happened. His apprentice, Ravenpaw, was slain in the process. The leaders were all shocked upon realizing there were "peacekeepers" among them all and when all was said and done, the peacekeepers had won and put the clans back into place. Buttercupbreeze was given her position of deputy back and Blazingstar learned to respect the other leaders more, besides Fallenstar.
○ It was only a moon or two of peace between all the clans, the first in about a year and a half, when an outbreak of greencough and whitecought hit the clans. Blazingstar caught it, but refused to seek help until it was too late. He was in the quarantine camp when he lost his third life. What no one was ready for was the long recovery it took him to come back from it. Little did anyone know, Blazingstar was developing an autoimmune disease.
○ Blazingstar would soon stumble across the bloody scene of Creamgaze while out in the territory. The warrior who had slain him was his own clanmate, Rowanfury. The old tom confessed to murdering others, including his former apprentice Ravenpaw. Realizing the danger Rowanfury was to his clan, Blazingstar was forced to slay the older tom and this moment still haunts the leader to this day.
○ Once again, the clans only got a another moon or two of peace before the Dark Forest broke through and made the clans turn on themselves. Still weak from the illness, Blazingstar was wounded severely by Cobaltblood in the fight against his own clan-mates. Now, the leader is suspicious of not only other clans, but his own clan-mates.
○ Several moons of happiness went by. The leader found another fling and wound up having another litter with her: Ebonyflame. The tom did his best to be there for his kits, however a horrible accident while hunting left the leader unable to be there for his family and clan for weeks. A hare had kicked the leader across the face and due to the autoimmune disease he developed, the tom's injuries became too infected for even StarClan to heal. Slowly, the tom lost lives until the infection subdued him for good. Buttercupbreeze was left to start a new era in WindClan.

I'm So Sorry. . .
It was right there in front of him. The hare he'd been stalking to show off to Cobraspirit, his mentor. They had decided to hunt on the Thunderpath border. Slowly, the apprentice crept forward, his posture in perfect alignment, the way he'd been taught. When he was in sprinting distance, Blazingpaw sprang forward, his paws gliding across the moor with ease, his already abnormally long claws tore into the ground giving him the traction he needed to reach the hare and his long tail waved about, matching the rabbits turns. Although, he was unaware of where he was going. He wasn't as cautious as he needed to be. Before he knew it, his paws hit asphalt and he skidded to a halt as a roaring deafened his ears. He turned his head and his golden hues widened with terror. A monster!
Frozen with terror, he waited for the blow in the middle of the Thunderpath as the bright lights drew closer and closer. As much as his mind told him to run, his paws couldn't seem to go. Blazingpaw merely saw movement in the corner of his eyes before paws slammed into his side and sent him sprawling to the other side of the Thunderpath. He screeched in terror, but it was cut off by a sickening thud. Turning, Blazingpaw saw him. "No!" he yowled, his voice filled with grief as his paws led him towards the feline who saved him. The feline he saw as a second fatherly figure and one that had been with him since his third moon of life. "Cobraspirit, come on, we have to get away from here!" he nudged the limp body of his mentor. His mentor's ebony pelt was stained crimson, his legs were sprawled and his tail looked broken. It's just a few injuries, he'll live! He knew what had happened. Cobraspirit had been struck by the monster to save him. It was dawning on the apprentice fast that his mentor wasn't going to get up again. Quickly he grabbed his mentor's scruff and dragged him to the safety of the moor and when he released, he nudged Cobraspirit numbly. "Pl- Please wake up! I need you here! I'm so sorry!" he sobbed, slumping to the ground beside his dead mentor. It finally settled in that Cobraspirit wasn't going to wake back up. He pressed his nose into the warriors cooling ebony pelt, a wail of pure sorrow echoed across the moors. What have I done?
